Legal Question in Personal Injury in Connecticut

car accident and slip and fall

I have 2 seperate legal situations, the first involves a car accident: I was stopped @ a red light and a car hit me fairly hard, the other driver was a 16 year old who promptly admitted total culpability. I now suffer from severe back pain and headaches and I haven't been able to work @ my job and I also had to stop attending school (I am a full time student, I was scheduled to graduat college in May, now I can't until December).

The second situation: A week later, i slipped on some ice @ my college 3 or 4 days after the big blizzard in February and broke my ankle, which required reconstructive surgery, i am going to pursue damages because there was basically no effort made by the school to salt the walkway that i did this.

what issues do i face in recovering damages for both of these incidents??

how does the fact that i've had 2 severe injuries @ such a close time affect each case??

Re: car accident and slip and fall

You should consult an attorney as soon as possible. I, from your question, believe you have a claim on both, but it is not that simple to answer by e-mail. The Attorney needs facts and other information to properly advise you. I would seek advice as soon as possible. I believe you have a case in both situations but I would need to discuss the facts with you before action would be taken. You can call for an appointment at 203 639-9838 to discuss these two cases. Thanks, Tom Noonan
