Legal Question in Personal Injury in Connecticut

I fell in the parking lot at lowes .There was a crack in the pavement and the shopping cart tire got stuck and fell on me.

They are claiming it's a liability case. And passed it to the "investors" landlord in ny.I'm in Ct

They will only cover my medical plus 250.00

is this small glaimes or do I need an attorney?
