Re: fell at work

You may be able to sue Comcast if they were the company responsible for clearing the snow and ice. If another company was responsible, you may be able to sue them. To sue, you have to show that Comcast (or the company responsible) was negligent in not clearing the sidewalk and that you were being careful.

Generally, an injured person such as you can get much more money suing than through workers compensation because in a lawsuit you can collect for pain and suffering and also for all future loss of income. Note that from the lawsuit you would have to reimburse the workers' compensation insurance company for what they have paid out or are likely to pay out in the future.
