Legal Question in Personal Injury in Connecticut

What can be done when you hire a lawyer for a fall at a store and you cannot get in contact with them. I have written letters and called and no one will call me back. It will be 3 years this March since the fall. The initial lawyer left the firm. Since then I get absoultely no answers as to when they will settle, or go to court etc. They never ask for bills or any other information. They say they will call back and never do. There is no fee unless we win. Can I change lawyers now without a charge? this is frustrating.

If it has been 3 years since the fall, and no suit was filed you may have a statute of limitations problem. I would suggest you schedule a meeting in person with the Sr. partner of the firm and ask for an explanation of where your case stands.
