Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Connecticut

I own a 3 family home with my brother. This was through an FHA loan. I'm in the process of buying a single family home. I'm pre-approved for an FHA loan. The bank told me yesterday that I can't get the FHA loan unless I file a quitclaim with my brother on the 3 family. I'm more than willing to do this, but will it make me eligible for the FHA loan on the one family?

Okay, what am I missing? Isn't that why the bank told you to quitclaim?
