Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Connecticut

I am being continually harrassed by my neighbor who even cuts down trees on my property while I am not home and is always trespassing on my property. Is there anything I can do? I have called police but they say I have to show them my property lines which I did but they say I need to have them remarked despite the fact that my property has already been surveyed and I showed them the map.What can I do?
