Foreclosure

my home went into foreclosure. Wewent to a lawyer tostop the foreclosure. he suggestedwe file bacnkrupcy which we did. We now pay the court $600 a month on all the bills that were consoladated and we had to pay the attorney 3000 to stop the foreclosure. In June and July, we sent a mortgage payment to this lawyer. We are again in foreclosure becausehe claims he cant findthe payments and now he will not answer our calls. Have we been scammed? Please tell us what we can do before we lose our home.

You didn't say whether the foreclosure action is final. Why would you send the mortgage payments to the lawyer and not the lender. Did someone tell you to send the payments to him as opposed to the mortgage company?

You stated you sent payments in June and July. June and July of last year?

You need to provide more information.
