Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Connecticut

I own a house in ct with my 3 siblings (I live there now). I want to buy it from them by making monthly payments to them directly. My question is, will I have a problem showing sole legal ownership once the house is payed for in full. I won't have any paperwork from a bank and our 4 names are on the deed.

thanks Bill Broas

At some point, the three of them would have to quitclaim their interest to you with a quitclaim deed. This is a document that each of them would sign transferring their interest to you. They can do it any time so long as everyone agrees. You would then record the deed on the land records at the city hall where the house is located.

You don't need a bank.
