Re: house

Do you have a power of attorney? If you don't, does anyone? This information will be helpful in determining whether your grandmother can sell her home to you.

Re: house

If your grandmother has Alzheimer's it depends how far along she is as to whether or not she is competent to deed you the house or to take out a reverse mortgage. If she isnt competent, she would need a conservator to conduct either transaction. If she is competent, she is free to sell you the house and retain a life use.

Feel free to call me. I am away until Monday but will be back after that.
