Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Connecticut

my lakeview has been blocked

The lakeview that I enjoyed for 19 years has been blocked by a new huge house. All view from straight out my front windows is gone.I picked up a small view to the left because of another property owner and a small view to the right from the huge house builder,BUT sitting on my couch looking out as I have done all these years, all I see is his huge house.Any compensation for something like this or any possible relief? Thank you.

Re: my lakeview has been blocked

If the house is already built and required a variance or some other CSL application that had a hearing, you may have missed your chance to object. However, if you check at town hall in the clerks office and discover that somehow the house violates zoning and has not been given a certificate of occupancy, you may be able to blow the whistle.
