Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Connecticut

We live on a small street with little parking. Each house has a significant amount of space in front of it in which a car can park. Our new neighbor from across the street parks in front of our house every day even though we have asked him not to, plenty of times. The area in front of his house is completely empty and by parking on the street in front of our house he takes up space that a member of our family could park their vehicle in. Is there anything that we can legally do to make him stop?

I would need more information to give you a better answer, but two things come to mind. First of all, why don't you park there repeatedly for weeks so he can't park there. Secondly, you might be able to take him to court for interferring with your right to park there, although, if it's a public space I'm not so sure you would have a valid claim.
