Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Connecticut

My mother kicked me out about 3 weeks ago because she does'nt like my girlfriend. I agreed to leave and come back to retrieve my personal property. She has refused repeatedly to allow me entrance to the property and in addition has moved my property elsewhere throughout the house tv bed etc also she has donated given away broken or thrown out many items of value. my question pertains to any rights whatsoever I may have and the best way to go about this I do plan to call the local police and receive an escort to the property but chances are she will not tell the truth as to who the property belongs to such as tv stereo etc. I also have loaned my mother over 40,000 dollars in cash in the past 2 yrs what can I realistically expect to recover as pertaining to money or personal property/compensation.

I can not answer as to what you can recover but to do so, you may have to file suit against her and win a judgment.
