Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Connecticut

I would like to know what you can do about a nosey landlord that likes to gossip about every one and anyone on the propberty seh tells me who doesnt pay rent and who is being evicted. My daughter and i live in 2 separte apartment. I pay my rent ahead of time. Her boyfriend doesnt like my boyfreind and told me that i can have him over 2x a week and thats it. we recieved a letter on our door stating that the dogs cannt walk on the grass which is new. We cannt smoke in the yard or in the parking lot or any where on the property out side. I feel like this is harrasment due to the fact My landlord had it out with my boyfriend and started yelling at him because i didnt move right away from one apartment to another and my boyfriend said take it up with me. I dodnt trust the landlord. please help

You didn't mention whether you have a lease and if so, when does it end. The only advice I can think of is to move.
