I've owned my home for around 4 years now. The previous owner left an unrestored antique car in my garage. Who owns the car now and what kind of legal actions could be taken if I sell or trade the car?

What were the discussions about the car when you closed on the house? Have you contacted the previous owner to find out when or if he/she is planning to pick up the car? I don't have enough information to answer your question.
