Ownership Status

If a claim was filed one one date for a vehicle registered in CT, owned by someone who relocated to another state, and 15 days later that registration expired, do the courts consider the date the claim was filed or the date of trial (at which point, the propery would no longer be registered in CT, as it expired)?

I have no clue as to what your question is about. Someone is filing a claim against a motor vehicle? What kind of claim? Where did they file the claim?
