Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Connecticut

i sold a property with the buyer understanding that he must pay me alump sum within 3 yrs of the sale. the time of payment is now but he said he has no money. if he or his wife have a retirement fund, can i have the money taken from that?

Before you can even think about where you are going to "take" the money from, you need to sue the buyers and get a judgment against them. I would need more information, but you could possibly foreclose against them, and take back the property, depending on the circumstances.
