Legal Question in Tax Law in Connecticut
Started working 5 years ago & never filed Tax return.
I started working here in the U.S. 5 years ago. I'm legal and have had withholdings taking out of my pay each week. I have never filed any tax return. What should I do or where should I start to make everything ok. What penalties etc. will there be? Thank you

You have to file the tax returns, 1 for the federal government and one for the state, for each of the 5 years. In addition to being a lawyer, I am also a CPA and prepare tax returns. I could prepare the returns for you, $50 for each year, for $250. Any time spent dealing with the IRS, responding to notices, etc. would be extra at an hourly rate of $150.
