Re: statute of limitations

It depends on the type of civil suit. There are various statutes depending upon the type of injury alleged. In a case of personal injury it is generally three years from the date of the injury. For property damage it may be three years from date of damage. For breach of contract it may be two or four years depending on whether the contract is written or oral. There are many other statutes of limitations.

Thus, you have to give more information to be able to determine whether you have a potential statute of limitations problem.
