Legal Question in Tax Law in Connecticut
''Tax return''
I am working for software firm. This firm brings people from India to USA on L1/H1 B visa. They claim to INS in work petition that they pay say around(60000$) to employee. But they do not pay that amount to employees in US.
Also now days they take our tax refunds from IRS and deposit in their account and we never get that money. They call our salary as allowance and use this reason for not giving us back our tax returns given to us by IRS.
Also we have to sign power of atterney giving them power to submit our tax returns. They use this Power of attorney signed by us for not paying us Tax returns.
Is it legel in USA to never give back employee it's tax return from IRS..
what we should do?

Re: ''Tax return''
What your employer is doing seems improper. You have a right to your own tax returns, and the money that is refunded to you. Is your employer paying all of your taxes on your behalf? My email address is [email protected] if you would like to write me directly.
