Legal Question in Traffic Law in Connecticut
Driving Infraction
I was pulled over for driving 55 in a 35 zone. I know for a fact there was no way I was driving 55, as I had stopped at several traffic lights during my trip about about 2 miles home. The police officer did not even pull me over for about 1 mile from where she said she clocked me. Also, the Tag # on the infraction is listed wrong - off by one letter. I pleaded not guilty and received 2 letters - one from The Centralized Infractions Bureau and then a week later from New Britain Superior Court stating I'd be mailed a court date. Am I mistaken, or is there an automatic nollie if the tag number is listed wrong?
