Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Connecticut
I want to be bought out of a house left for 3 siblings
My birth mother died 1/31/07, she left a hand written letter that her property in Puerto Rico and bank accounts should be distributed among my brother, sister and myself. I must inform you that I found my mother five years ago, so I don't really think my brother is happy about this. Please tell me what should be done. I do not have a copy of the letter, my aunt, the executor has the letter in P.R.. I have asked her for a copy but she has not sent it to me. What do I do? I just want them to give me what is rightfully mine, what my mother left me without any problems. What do I need to show proof to whomever that she is my mother and that she is deceased. Property is in P.R., she died in NY and I live in Connecticut Please help.
