Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Connecticut

I have a question. My dad passed away and my stepbrother is the executor of the will. He never went to probate but took my dads money from his bank account and his life insurance policy his (name was on both.) The will states the estate payes all funneral cost. I ended up paying the bill in full and now my step brother wont pay me back what can i do. He never took the will to probate. Please help I live on SSI so I dont have this kind of money.

If you have no money, then you should qualify for a pro bono (free) attorney. Go to the Connecticut or Texas Bar Association website and look for legal aid. If step-brother has breached his fiduciary duties, you are entitled to reimbursement plus any share of the estate that you are entitled to. You need legal help.
