Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Connecticut

Ok I found out the will was probated. I also found out there is still property in her name. I am getting a copy of the will. If we were never notified about the will or any property and we are named in it can We still challenge it? Would the attorney who probated the will also be in trouble if he did not notified us? Will we need an attorney? Thank you for your help!
