Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Connecticut

I live in Ct I just found out i was named in a will from 2004. I was never notified about it. I was told the Executor of will (who is an estranged brother) never notified anyone. Is there anything I can do or how do I get a copy of this will?

Was an estate ever opened? Which Probate Court? Are there any assets?

Im not sure if the estate was ever opened. The estranged brother who is the executor of the will does not talk to anyone. It was Oxford Ct and yes there were assets. He is all about himself. He had her buy property next to him to build on but she died before this could happen.

Go down to the Oxford probate court and tell the clerk who you are and what you believe happened. The clerk will tell you what your next step is. (which might be that you need a lawyer) It's the probate court in the town where the decedent lived.
