Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Connecticut

Hi, My name is Michael Mitchell I was recently involved in a hearing concerning my deacesed Aunts will and estate.My sister was named executer or fidicuary also she was named beneficuary.Im named an heir at law.I would like to know if this is a matter of moral obligation to distribute a fair share of the estates 800,00.00 plus value or is the executer under a legal shroud to distribute nothing at all.I live on a military disabled pension (Vietnam War) and am unable to afford an attourney.I do hope you can shed some light on thi matter.Cordially youres Michael Mitchell.

If the will states that you are to receive a portion of the estate then the executor must abide by the will. If you believe that you should have received a portion of the estate and you were not named in the will, then you would have to contest the will.
