Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Connecticut

payment of deceased unsecured debts

Step daughter is executrix of my husband's estate. Have submitted to her the funeral and medical expenses , which have been paid (5 months after submission). Also submitted to her the monthly home maintence bills that he alone paid ( an arrangement in place for our 17 years of marriage)as well as a car maintence bill for his car incurred, around time of death, but requested by him months before. Executrix/step daughter is refusing to pay these bills. My husband and I had a specific arrangement. He paid home maintenance(lawn, utilities, gutter cleaning, repairs) plus his own personal expenses and I paid for food, entertaining, decorating, all expenses of raising our son, purchasing my car, it's maintainance and insurance.

I only submitted the bills that he always paid and of those, only those that were for services rendered before his death.

Do I have any rights to these funds?

If have historical data re: the maintenance bills, will that help my case?

Also, it took 5 months to be reimbursed. Was this reasonable amount of time?

Thank you
