Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Connecticut

probate inventory

What needs to be included in an inventory for probate? The form says ''valuable items''. How valuable? What are the implications if something is or is not included in the inventory?

This estate is being divided between 3 children of the deceased. Everything is supposed to be divided in thirds. The executor is someone else (not an heir).

Re: probate inventory

It depends on various factors including the size of the estate and the benefiaries. I have seen valuation of individual coins and stamps. I would err on the side of caution, and note all items of value individually, and then certain items, for example whose combined value is under25-50$ describe and note the value.
