Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Connecticut

We are trying to purchase our grandmother's house before she loses it to the bank. She was recently dianosed with eltimers and our aunt is now her power of attorney. Once we buy it, and the sale is final, can the bank still take the house if she has to go into assisted living 2 or more years from now???

I am not so sure that the answer is a simple one. You should consult with an attorney who is experienced in Title IX/Medicaid laws and procedures. There have been many changes to the "look back" rules in the past few years and the fact that the house is in foreclosure may be very relevant to the answer to your question.
