Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Connecticut

removal of executor

If I am looking for a lawyer who specializes in wills and estates is this the specialist category I should be looking in if I want to have an executor removed from his position? I wish to consult with someone who specializes in this area.

Re: removal of executor

You have not explained the reason for the removal, so I am not sure if I can help you. Is this person acting on a current estate? If so, it is difficult to have him/her removed unless they have acted improperly or are failing to fullfill their duties. I can help you in NJ if I had more information.

Re: removal of executor

Contact the State's Bar Association (the state where the decedent was from and where the action will take place) and ask for a referral for an attorney who specializes wills & probate in the County where the will is being probated.

Good luck.
