Rights to Info about Fathers Estate
My adult childrens Estranged Father died and his Family will not disclose any information about his death or His holdings. After the services they were given a snap shot of him and his Marine lapel pin and sent on their way. His ''also estranged parents'' are selling his house and claim it will only cover funeral expenses. Where do we go for answers?

Re: Rights to Info about Fathers Estate
To the Probate Court or Probate Clerk or Probate Judge of the County in which he died. There one probates his will; or, if no will, formally appoints an administrator. If they still won't talk, hire a probate lawyer in the County in which he died and have him or her formally write the surviving spouse or parents for formal answers. If you want more detailed answers ask the Clerk to the Probate Court in the appropriate County. HCW
