Rights

My mom pasted away when I was still a minor. She left the house to my siblings and me. Nothing has been done to sell the house or anything. I'm 18 years old now. Do I have any rights to the order of sell of the house or does my aunt who took custody of us in April have full say of everything?

Any co-owner (like you) can force the sale of the property, but it's expensive and equitable principles come into play. For instance, are your siblings under 18 and still living in the house? Was there a trust set up in the will which delays your access to the proceeds of the estate until you are older than 18? You can call me.

First of all, was an estate opened in the probate court of the town you live in? Was there a will? If so, who is the executor? You, as an heir, have rights, however, they may depend on whether your mother did any estate planning. The best thing you can do is to seek an attorney for advice.
