Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Connecticut

UGMA and UTMA accounts, the custodian emptied all the accounts without my knowledge, and not used towards my benefit. Apparently these were both set up so I couldn't get to them until I turned 25, because they took everything when I was 24 years old. They have no remorse for taking the money and refuse to return it. One of the accounts was opened by my estranged mother, and somehow my father gained control of the account when we found out about it. I called the probate court of the town we reside in and they can't find anything. Is this something I need a lawyer for, or is there anything else I can do?

You need to hire a lawyer and sue those custodians who depleted the accounts. The statute is very clear about UGMA/UTMA accounts. The money belongs to you.
