Legal Question in Administrative Law in Delaware

Ive registered MyCompanyName, LLC a DE company as a solo proprietor with Bizfilings in March, 2014. My company is going through fund-raising and will have to change our status of C-corp. The name has to change as well to MyCompanyName, Inc. and I will need to list other co-owners. Is there a form to file and can someone knowledgeable walk me through it? Is it better to close the LLC and open a c-corp with a clean slate? In that case, how do I close the LLC?

Unfortunately I see your situation all too often. The various "filing" companies make it sound easy to form a company, but neglect to help you with the real legal issues that come up after formation.

Though your legal issues are complicated, the good news is that they are fairly common and can be addressed at reasonable cost with the help of an experienced startup attorney.

As public service, my firm provides refugees of these filing companies a 25% discount over our already low fees that we specifically extend to entrepreneurs.

Ping me off-line and mention that you were a customer of a filing company.
