Legal Question in Consumer Law in Delaware
Damaged items not picked up
We purchased flooring online from a company and the initial shipment was damaged. While the company did re-send the flooring, no one ever picked up the damaged flooring. We had spoken to the flooring company and emailed them about this, but no one ever got back to us about picking up the first shipment. The shipment has been in our house for the past three months. How long before we can just get rid of this ourselves? I'm afraid to do anything for fear that in a year one of the companies will realize that they never picked them up and then charge up for them. How should we proceed?
