Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Delaware

If my car is in my boyfriends name because i could not finance it with my credit, and i make the payments, can he just take it away if we breakup?

Perhaps if his name is the sole name on the title and insurance, however a trip to JP court may fix this issue.

If you can't refinance the car to get the loan out of his name there may be a problem.
