money owed to me by spa manufacturer

Do I have any legal right to liquidate spa I have in my possession that belong to spa co. that has closed operations and owe me $2000 for deliveries I performed?

Do not know what you mean by "liquidate" if you mean "keep" the answer is no. You should file debt action in Justice of Peace court for the 2k. When you win, judgment can be made levy on debtors' property, i.e. spa, and you end up with it after court order. Process not that lenghty. Ed Pankowski
