Re: affidavits

The affidavit is a document that takes the place of sworn testimony in court or before USCIS, okay? So if you have 2 or more persons who know you and your husband as a married couple, I presume, then simply have then write an "affidavit" declaring those facts. Here is how to do it: On the top of a piece of paper, Type the Word "AFFIDAVIT" -- then the first sentence should begin something like this: "I, (name of person), testify that I have known (name of couple) for (how many years). I have (met with them how many times, under what conditions, on what occasions). My opinion is that this couple is (in love, caring toward each other, want to start a family, whatever is the truth). Make sure they sign thee documents before a notary who will attest to their signatures. Try to encourage the person doing the affidavit to present a real good assessment of what they really see between you two. Good luck!
