I have a marketing/advertising idea that I want to present to a specific company. How do I legally protect my idea from others use and/or the company stealing the idea and using it without my permission.

You need to have a Business Attorney review your proposal, then draft an appropriate Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreement.
