Legal Question in Employment Law in Delaware

State Disability

I worked as a machinest for 19 years and was forced into early retirement. I have suffered with severe irritable bowl syndrome for years. This was a large factory with many employees and my symptoms could be tolerated. Sometimes I would be away from my position for an hour or more. Now, I cannot find other employment and working in small settings is impossible. I never know when the attacks will come and I can be incapacitated for an hour or more. I have had many tests, medications and even a historectomy to treat the symptoms but nothing changed. Can I get any form of permanent disability?
