Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in Delaware

Lawyer felt she didnt agree to terms but still took my money
My husband and I paid a lawyer to draw and file our divorce papers in 2002. In 2003 we found out she did not do any of this. I called her and her reason was that she did not agree to the terms him and I had. She also stated that she was going through a rough time. I said that that was fine that I would go and file myself but I wanted my 1800 back, she refused. I was wondering if I can take her to small claims court and get my money back?

yes. you should also file a grievance with the state bar.
