Is it possible to buy and own a home anonymously?

I am relocating after a divorce to an area 30 miles away. I must stay this close because of employment requirements. I would rather that old friends, co-workers,etc not know where I am going and with the 'net it's real easy to find new home owners etc.

I am not hiding from creditors, etc.

I just want to be left alone.

How can I accomplish this?

you can take title on deed as "straw party' i.e. John Doe but need your ss#. We can make sure it is not published in local newspaper property transfers. Call us if you need help. Ed Pankowski
