liquor liscensing
My son is a room service manager at a hotel in washington,dc. his boss,another manager, asked him to get an individual liquor liscense. Does he have to do that, and why should he shoulder that liability

Individual liquor license for whom?
Of course, your son doesn't have to do it, but since DC is a so-called employment at will jurisdiction, failure to follow the boss' orders can
mean a trip to the unemployment line.
