Legal Question in Business Law in District of Columbia

Llc's

I would like to check to see if an LLC is registered in Illinois. How can I check and if it is not who can I report them to if I suspect them of wrongdoing? Also I believe that the LLC is being used in another state

You should look up the Illinois state government website and find the agency that is responsible for registering Illinois corporations. You may even be able to submit your inquiry online regarding the LLC on which you're interested in obtaining information.
