It is common for the prosecution to push forward in a domestic violence case without the consent of the victim/spouse. Your husband needs a lawyer. There are a number of defenses that can be posed to challenge the government's case. For example there may be the availablility of the spousal priviledge, the objections to hearsay and of coarse the confrontation arguments,,,A lawyer is very important. Your husband may call my office at (301) 279-8773 or (301) 738-7500. -AP
