Terminated, Personal File

I was recently terminated from comapny A but I was offered another job with another company B and my former employer (A)submitted items ithat I was unaware of that shold be in my personal file if true. This submittal hindered me from the current position with company B. Am I legally eligible to get that information b/c it kept me from career progression?

Unless you're suing your former employer A, the answer is no.
