Legal Question in Criminal Law in District of Columbia
How long does he have to serve?
I would like to know if someone has been charged with a racketeering charge and was sentence to 35 years, how much time does he have to serve of the 35 year term? He has been in for ten years now, is there anything that can be done to have the remaining of his term reduced?

Re: How long does he have to serve?
Your best approach would be to ask the lawyer who represented the defendant at the time he was sentenced to the term of 35 years. If this person is not available, then you should ask another criminal defense counsel who practices in your local area.
