Parole Revocation

a friend has served time for a felony drug distribution. He has been on parole for the last 7 years and has been a productive member of society (his parole ends in

April 2007). Recently, has arrested on an assult charge. He was defending himself in fight over a parking space. Nevertheless, he was arrested and it is a parole violation. Can his parole be revoked and he be ordered to serve out the rest of his time.

Will the parole commission consider the past 7 years or will they consider only this incident.

Yes, the parole commission will consider the past seven years of your friend's life as well as the incident itself which led to his recent arrest, and anything in between which it considers relevant.
