What happens to a person who is charged with PWID of a small amount of marijuana in DC? This is the person 1st ever offense of this nature. What should they expect when going to court.

The person described under these cirumstances should be eligible for the so-called Diversion Program run by the U.S. attorney's office for the District of Columbia.
