I would like to know how long does a warrant stay open on someone?

A warrant may stay open indefinitely on a person, until such time as the computer(s)holding the

warrant come to their demise or have their data

bases purged. Yes, that could amount to many years. Obviously, the more serious the offense on

which the warrants is based, the more likely it is to remain active for a longer period of time.
