Legal Question in Discrimination Law in District of Columbia
Defamation or False Light Claim?
If someone askes on a public blog if my name is ''Joe Bloggs'' but I am actually female in real life and my profile says so, do i have any course of action through Defamation or False Light?
Isn't the asker of the question, assuming and implying I'm male, when I'm female? Is this offensive enough?

Re: Defamation or False Light Claim?
No, I see no grounds for a viable defamation or false light action based upon the facts which you've recounted in your question but, perhaps, you should be looking for another blog to occupy your time.
